Tell us about your organization
We started PNW Mobile Spa in 2020 when I was desperate to sit in a hot tub, mimosa in hand, and try to forget about the global pandemic looming over us. Much to my dismay, all public spas and hot tubs were shut down because of COVID-19. My hot tub dreams seemed like a far-off reality until I proposed the idea of a hot tub rental service to my husband, who for once, didn’t think I was completely out of touch. Furloughed from work and with extra time on his hands, he quickly developed a system that would allow us to deliver a hot tub with water that is heated and pretreated in less than 30 minutes. Now, three years later, we not only provide hot tub rentals but have added a mobile woodfired sauna to our fleet (soon to be two). We regularly host sauna and cold plunge events at various public parks throughout the Seattle area including Alki Beach, Golden Gardens, and Lake Washington.
Why did you join the Chamber?
We absolutely love meeting and collaborating with other businesses in the Seattle area. Joining the Chamber seemed like the perfect opportunity to find like-minded entrepreneurs to work with and learn from.
What are you/is your business interested in or what do you need currently?
Advertising is expensive, especially for small family-owned businesses. We really rely on referrals and word of mouth to help us reach new customers in the greater Seattle area.
