Today’s featured member, Shubert Ho, chief executive officer & co-founder of Feedme Hospitality & Restaurant Group, said Feedme Hospitality is a collective of locally loved, independent food concepts, including Bar Dojo, Salt & Iron, MARᐧKET, Fire & The Feast, SanKai, The Potlatch Bistro, and Shore Pine Coffee & Gelato, which was established in 2008 with the opening of Shooby Doo Catering. Feedme Hospitality is also the exclusive concessionaire of the Edmonds Waterfront Center and the Seattle Art Museum. Its mission is to fill bellies and souls—from its kitchens to its community, one dish at a time. The team believes hospitality has no borders and often partners with organizations whose missions align. Community partners include Seattle Children’s Hospital, World Central Kitchen, The Foundation for Edmonds School District, South County Firefighter Foundation, and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

To what do you attribute your business’ success?

Aside from the amazing group of individuals that I work with every day, I’d say that our successes are based on bringing something new to the area in terms of cuisine and emphasizing a family-friendly atmosphere for both the customer and the employee.

What’s one piece of advice you have for someone looking to start or grow their business or join your field?

You really have to love what you do and know that you’ll need to move mountains to make things happen. The restaurant/hospitality industry is not for the faint of heart. If, after all trials and tribulations, you still have a smile on your face, then this industry is for you.

Are there partnerships you are/your company is currently looking for?

Feedme Hospitality is always looking for like-minded individuals who have a vested interest in bettering the community. These are the relationships that we’ve forged with our vendors, clients, and even landlords. It REALLY makes a difference when positive intent is always a given.
