Today’s featured member, Sarah H. Cave, owner/Seattle Metro Chamberistrator of Always Best Care – Seattle, said the business provides in-home companion and personal care to support aging in place. They also offer expert assisted living guidance and placement services for seniors. Their exceptional caregivers and knowledgeable staff help lessen the load for family members, so families can focus on spending quality time with aging loved ones.
To what do you attribute your business’ success?
Always Best Care – Seattle grew out of my desire to transition to senior services following a year-long journey with my mom, who had a severe stroke in November 2021. I attribute our success to three things:
- The experience I gained navigating all aspects of my mother’s care—from hospital to skilled nursing and rehab, to assisted living.
- Our strong health care background, which allows us to address a broad range of questions and concerns when working with clients.
- Our skilled and compassionate caregivers, who are at the core of what we do.
What’s one piece of advice you have for someone looking to start or grow their business, or join your field?
Building a business is all about relationships. Community engagement and networking are key to creating brand awareness and developing trusting relationships with clients and referral partners.
How are you/is your business active in your community?
Last September, Always Best Care sponsored the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and participated in the walk, honoring our clients and family members. In October of 2022, Always Best Care-Seattle delivered snack bags to busy Seattle hospital social workers and discharge planners as part of Case Management Week. We are active members of the Seattle Senior Care Coalition and lifelong Rotarians. We look forward to getting more involved with local senior community centers, the Puget Sound VA and the Seattle Metro Chamber.
Thank you to Always Best Care for being part of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce network.
