Last month, the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction brought together a task force to give guidance for school districts across the state as they look toward reopening in fall 2020. Their recommendation was that with appropriate COVID-19 health precautions in place, such as use of PPE, physical distancing, and health screenings, students could safely return to their classrooms in September.
Hear from Superintendent Chris Reykdal on how this task force developed the District Planning Guide
, ways that each school district can plan for their own community needs, alternatives for districts who can't meet health requirements, and more.
