The Employment Security Department of Washington State started seeing an uptick in fraudulent claims in late April to early May 2020. At this point, they have seen tens of thousands of individuals whose stolen information has been used to file fraudulent claims which translates into hundreds of millions of dollars.

Hear how ESD is working with federal and state agencies and banks to recover as much as possible, how businesses should manage employer notices, and how employees can best mitigate personal risk.
