Transportation
The long-term economic vitality of the Seattle metropolitan region depends on infrastructure that meets current and future transportation, safety, and service needs. By 2040, King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap Counties will have more than 1 million more residents and jobs than they do today. Our region’s ability to retain existing businesses and attract new employers depends on strong, interconnected systems, especially a robust multimodal transportation network that provides for the efficient movement of people and goods.
