SEATTLE – Social media is our region’s reigning champ in online communications, and the third annual IN-NW: Social Media & Digital Marketing Conference presented by Google dedicates an entire day, February 12, 2014 at Showbox SoDo, to slicing and dicing the current and future landscape of social engagement.
The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, UW Communication Leadership Program, and 206 inc, a Seattle-based marketing agency, are bringing together powerhouse brands and digital marketing gurus to discuss best practices, preview what’s coming down the pipeline and share stories of success and smart failures.
IN-NW features nationally-recognized gurus, hyperlocal standouts and food trucks (of course) at a totally rocking venue—the ShowBox SoDo. Speakers include:
Additional speakers and turbo-charged presentations will be announced in January. With speakers from a variety of backgrounds, IN-NW will appeal to a wide range of users on the social media spectrum—from experts and business leaders looking for ways to expand their social media capabilities and engage with consumers in new ways, to social media junkies and tech geeks itching to hear about the latest social trends directly from those who have had a hand in creating them.
- Hanson Hosein: Director, UW’s CommLead program and President, HRH Media
- Geoff Walker: Chief Marketing Officer, Lively
- Rob Salkowitz: Partner/Director of Content and Strategy, MediaPlant

And of course those with a taste for some of Seattle’s best food-trucks won’t be disappointed either. Come hungry and eager to learn with your mobile devices charged because tweeting, facebooking, pinning, and tumblring are not only allowed—it’s encouraged.
Who Should Attend: IN-NW is for anyone who is interested in the current and future trends of social engagement, is up for networking with other attendees, and is curious about engaging with the speakers and some of the presentations themselves.
