Chamber Honors Paul Schell’s Legacy with Digital Tribute

Website allows community to share memories and photos to remember the places, policies and people Schell influenced

SEATTLE – The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is remembering Paul Schell’s legacy by engaging the people, organizations and communities he impacted during his life with a beautiful new website [www.ourpaulschell.org] that honors his legacy in the city and region. 

Leading up to his memorial service on October 8 at Bell Harbor International Conference Center at 3 p.m., the website OurPaulSchell.org invites Paul’s friends, colleagues and the community to submit comments or engage through social media outlets using the hashtag #OurPaulSchell

“Paul’s legacy can be seen in everything from the buildings we walk by on our way to work and the art we enjoy around the city, to the parks, libraries and policies so intrinsic to our city and region,” said Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce President, Maud Daudon who served as deputy mayor and chief of staff during the Schell administration. “The website creates a central location for everyone to to honor his life and accomplishments.” 

The website also includes photos from Paul’s life, quotes from him and other influential leaders, media coverage surrounding his passing on July 27, and details on the memorial service. For more information or to submit comments, visit www.ourpaulschell.org or email ourpaulschell@gmail.com
