SEATTLE – The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce today celebrated the start of the terms of Brad Tilden, Chairman and CEO of Alaska Air Group, and Heather Redman, VP of Business Operations and General Counsel of Indix Corporation, as chair and vice-chair, respectively, of its Board of Trustees.
Seattle Metro Chamber president and CEO Maud Daudon said, “I’m thrilled that Brad and Heather will lead our board this year. They are two of the business community’s best examples of solutions-oriented leaders who apply our Northwest values for positive change.”
She added, “Brad is one of our region’s most energetic advocates for increasing affordability, access and alignment in our public education system. His passion for better educational opportunities for all of our state’s residents shines through the work that he and Alaska Airlines do. His leadership will be complemented by Heather’s enthusiasm for deeper civic engagement from the business community, particularly when it comes to making sure that representatives from our world-class technology companies bring their voices and passion to policy and political conversations.”

A 25-year veteran of Alaska Air Group, Tilden was ranked #22 among the Top 50 Corporate Leaders in America by Fortune in 2015. Tilden serves on the boards of the Washington Roundtable, Pacific Lutheran University, Boy Scouts of America and Nordstrom. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pacific Lutheran University, an executive MBA from the University of Washington and is a licensed commercial pilot.
Redman’s distinguished career in the technology sector includes serving as senior vice president at Summit Power Group and her leadership roles at AtomShockwave, Inc., Getty Images, Inc., and PhotoDisc, Inc. She is also an active technology advisor and investor in early stage technology companies and funds including TechStars, Pioneer Square Labs, 9 Mile Labs, Founders’ Co-op and Alliance of Angels. Redman is on the boards of Beneficial State Bank, the Washington Technology Industry Association (Vice Chair), Forterra, the Hawthorn Club and the Finance Committee for CASE, the Seattle Metro Chamber’s political affiliate. She holds a JD with distinction from Stanford University and received her bachelor's from Reed College.
