Grand Openings

As a benefit of membership, we offer the following grand opening services depending on your membership level:

Entrepreneur Members

  • Marketing opportunities through the Chamber’s Member News and Community Event Calendar; website and Weekly Digest ads available for purchase
  • Use of the Chamber’s physical mailing list of all member companies (limit to 1 use per year)
  • Post-event highlight on the Chamber’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X accounts using member-provided photos

Corporate Members and Higher

  • The above benefits, PLUS…
  • Chamber staff presence and ribbon cutting at a grand opening of a new business or location
  • Brief opening remarks provided by a Chamber staff member
  • Giant scissors and ribbon
  • Invitation extended to the Chamber’s Membership Committee

Guidelines

  • The grand opening benefits are available to Seattle Metro Chamber members only.
  • We request that new members who join the Chamber to utilize the ribbon cutting benefit make a commitment of two (2) years of membership.
  • We require 30-day notice in advanced of the requested date where Chamber staff presence is requested.
  • The Chamber team is available to attend your grand opening ceremony Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, excluding national holidays, office closures, and major Chamber events
