What is the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Of Commerce?
The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is the largest and most diverse business association in the region. Founded in 1882 by local business leaders, the Chamber today is an independent organization representing 2,600 companies and a regional workforce of approximately 750,000.

Are small businesses involved in the Seattle Metro Chamber?
Nearly 80 percent of our 2,600 members are small businesses with less than 100 employees. One-third of Chamber members are micro-enterprises with less than 10 employees. They join the Chamber because we are a single source for access to all the tools needed to grow their business, from high quality networking to professional development to employee benefits like health care. Do I need to be a member to attend Seattle Metro Chamber functions?
Seattle Metropolitan Chamber programs are a benefit of membership and are intended for employees of member companies only; however, a few annual events are open to the public. Does the Seattle Metro Chamber offer health care and other employee benefits to member companies?
Through the Chamber, you can save between 10 and 30 percent on premiums for employee benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Learn more about our benefits.

Does my business need to be located in the city of Seattle to join the Seattle Metro Chamber?
Not at all! Forty percent of our members are located outside the city of Seattle. Geographically, our reach extends throughout the four-county Puget Sound region.
Are dues tax deductible?
Ninety percent of annual membership dues are tax deductible as a necessary and ordinary business expense.
