Events Participation Terms & Conditions
In consideration of being allowed to register for this event, and any related events and activities (collectively, the “Event”), I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that: (i) I knowingly and freely assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; (ii) I willingly agree to comply with the terms and conditions for participation; (iii) if I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and (iv) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce d/b/a the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (the “Chamber”), its officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsors and advertisers (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all claims, demands, losses and liability arising out of or related to any personal injury, disability or death I may suffer, or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Participants may be photographed and/or recorded for the documentary or promotional purposes of the Chamber, including, without limitation, inclusion in any attendee list compiled and distributed to event participants. Payment to the Chamber (including use of coupons) constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. I have read this release of liability, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by agreeing to these terms, and hereby agree freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
COVID-19 Protocol Expectations
The Seattle Metro Chamber is committed to providing a safe environment for our members and employees to gather in person, by making decisions based on scientific Public Health guidance and Washington State L&I policies. All protocols are subject to change based on these inputs.
By attending events, you acknowledge and accept the risk that there are a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated attendees, and you are responsible for taking the precautions needed to keep yourself safe. We are happy to provide hand sanitizer and masks at all our events for your use. We encourage anyone to wear a mask if you chose. Specific protocols will be shared with attendees before the event.
You agree that you will not attend this event if you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms: Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting, or Diarrhea. All of the below event cancellation policies are subject to change if you need to cancel due to symptoms of COVID-19.

Press Participation Condition
Seattle Metro Chamber events are private. Press must have the Chamber's consent to attend; if you are a member of the press and wish to attend an event, please contact Alicia Teel: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Standard Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be made for canceled registrations, but substitutions are welcome. Credits are available to Chamber members for canceled registrations if the cancellation is made three business days prior to the event by contacting the event registrar. Credits not used within 90 days of the date of the event are subject to being forfeited. Registrants must be 21+ to attend.
Annual Meeting Cancellation Policy
No refunds or credits will be made for canceled registrations, but substitutions are welcome. Due to Annual Meeting being a Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce member event, registrations and substitutions are open to Chamber members only.
Free Event Cancellation Policy
For a free event there
is no cancellation penalty, but we would greatly appreciate it if you would
alert us if you are unable to attend at least one day prior to the event date.
Study Missions and Leadership Conference Cancellation Policies
An administrative fee will be charged for any cancellations. Cancellations made on or after certain dates or "no-shows" for the trip are not eligible for a refund. Note, these cancellation terms pertain to Chamber payments for trip registration only. They do not include costs associated with air fare or other purchases made in relation to the event. Study Mission and Leadership Conference cancellations vary per event. Please visit the event page for full details.
YPN Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be made for canceled registrations, but substitutions are welcome. Credits are available to Chamber members for canceled registrations if the cancellation is made 3 business days prior to the event by contacting the event registrar. Non-members can transfer their registration to the following YPN event. Credits not used within 90 days of the date of the event are subject to being forfeited. Registrants must be 21+ to attend.
