Advocacy

A Policy Partner For Your Business

The Seattle Metro Chamber is the only Chamber in the region working on your behalf at the city, county, state and federal levels.

Your priorities are our priorities, and we’re here to ensure Seattle’s business landscape remains strong, equitable, and forward-thinking.

The Chamber annually hosts 96 elected officials at our events.

Chamber members annually send up to 600 emails to legislators championing business community priorities.

In addition to our role as a policy advocate, we are convener and a community partner in broad-based coalitions on issues we all care about, from transportation to housing affordability.

Public Safety

We’re working to strengthen public safety measures, creating a Seattle where businesses and communities alike feel secure and supported.

Homelessness

We’re committed to solutions that address the roots of homelessness, creating a healthier environment for our unhoused neighbors as well as businesses, neighborhoods, and the entire community.

Affordability

We’re advocating for increased housing supply across Seattle to create affordable options for our growing local workforce, so everyone has a place to call home.

Downtown Recovery

We support policies that revitalize downtown, enhancing job opportunities, boosting economic growth, and improving safety for everyone in the region.

Childcare

Expanding affordable, accessible childcare strengthens our community, enabling parents to work confidently while nurturing a future-ready generation.

Transportation

We advocate for improved transportation, making it easier for employees and customers to connect, which supports a vibrant, accessible economy.
