We want to showcase your National Small Business Week offers

Submit your information by Friday, April 28 and we'll feature you

NSBW_Banner_NewNational Small Business Week is almost here! Are you hosting an event, a workshop series, specials or anything else to help small businesses in our region during National Small Business week, April 30-May 6? If so, we want to know!

Since nearly 80 percent of our 2,200 members are small businesses with fewer than 100 employees, we understand the importance of small businesses to a healthy community. Not only do we want them to be able to take advantage of Small Business Week opportunities, but we love to feature what our Chamber members are doing.

Please send the information for your small business events and/or specials, as well as a link to it or your website, to Cori Lumens by this Sunday, April 30. You'll be featured on the Chamber's homepage in our National Small Business Week article. We'll also promote your offerings in the Chamber's Top 5 email newsletter next Monday.

About National Small Business Week

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.

More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.

As part of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from all 50 states and U.S. territories. Every day, they’re working to grow small businesses, create 21st century jobs, drive innovation, and increase America’s global competitiveness.
