The health of Alaska’s economy, in recent decades, has relied on the export of oil and natural gas. As of 2013, the industry employed more than 63,000 workers and paid $4.23 billion in wages to Alaska and Puget Sound residents. That said, the steady decrease in oil prices combined with falling North Slope production has provided challenges for Alaska’s economy and required companies to increasingly engage in the development of affordable and reliable solutions.

Hear from experts in the field as they discuss the state of the oil and gas industry in Alaska and implications for firms in the Pacific Northwest.

Speakers:
Doug Smith, President, ASRC Energy Services, LLC
Kara Moriarty, President and CEO, Alaska Oil and Gas Association (AOGA)
Rebecca Logan, General ManagerThe Alaska Support Industry Alliance
